COREPER discussion on EU measures against Turkey to be continued on Thursday

The discussion at the level of COREPER  on the EU measures against Turkey due to its illegal drilling activities in the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Republic of Cyprus, will continue tomorrow afternoon, as today there was no unanimity, according to a diplomatic source who informed the press in Brussels.

According to the same source, diplomats are preparing the measures for the Foreign Ministers` meeting on Monday, based on the Commission-EEAS proposal.

At the same time, Turkey`s activity in the Eastern Mediterranean was also discussed at the College of Commissioners.
