President unveils “peace and tolerance” monument in Limassol

President Nicos Anastasiades unveiled a monument on Saturday dedicated to “peace and tolerance” in Agios Tychonas, Limassol, on the southern coast of Cyprus.
The monument was financed by Russian businessman Nikolay Ivchikov who is a permanent resident of the city, where thousands of Russian citizens leave, and was created by artist Philipos Yiapanis.
“The monument will remind us of Cyprus’ decisive role in promoting peace, security and international cooperation in our region.
