Trade deficit increases 18.6% in eleven months

Trade deficit for the period January-November 2017 recorded an increase of 18.6% for the period January-November 2017 compared to the corresponding period of 2016.

According to data released Thursday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus trade deficit was €4.659,3 mn in January-November 2017 compared to €3,929.4 mn in the corresponding period of 2016.

Total imports (covering total imports from third countries and from EU Member States) in January-November 2017 amounted to €7,336.4 mn as compared to €6,444.7 mn in January-November 2016.

Total exports (covering total exports to third countries and to EU Member States) in January-November 2017 were €2,677.1 mn compared to €2,515.4 mn in January-November 2016.
