Cyprus Meteorology Department issues warning for extreme temperature on Tuesday

The Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued in the afternoon a yellow warning for extreme high temperature on Tuesday.
The warning says that inland maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41  degrees Celsius.

Citizens are urged to be extra careful between 1300 - 1700 local time. "Some health risks amongst vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young are possible", the warning points out.

The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning on Monday as well, when temperatures expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius.
