Proper preparation is necessary to secure a positive outcome of the talks, says Greek Foreign Minister

Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Kotzias, has stressed that proper preparation should be done before a new round of talks on the Cyprus issue begins, to secure a positive outcome.
The Greek Foreign Minister visited Cyprus on Friday to sign an agreement with the Bishop of Kykkos and Tillyria Nikiforos under which the Diocese grants a plot of land to the Republic of Greece for construction of the Greek Embassy and the Ambassadorial residence, in Nicosia.
Asked if he would make any attempts with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu to prepare the talks, the Greek Foreign Minister stressed that a proper preparation is necessary “to find out whether an agreement can be reached, as I believe that it would be counterproductive to go into negotiations that would lead to a deadlock and to hold referenda that would not yield a vote in favour of the proposed solutio
