Member of Advisory Board on pandemic cautiously optimistic on declining trend, says measures should continue in April

Professor Irene Christaki of the Advisory Body on the pandemic has expressed cautious optimism on the declining trend of the covid19 cases in Cyprus and pointed out that the restrictive measures should continue in April.
Professor Christaki who spoke to the Cyprus News Agency said that we need to wait one more week to see whether the situation with the declining trend will continue. She said that the results of the last few days allow us to be cautiously optimistic but we definitely need to wait for more days to assess the overall situation.
