Government seeks to serve peace and security in Cyprus and its wider region, says Presidential Commissioner

Presidential Commissioner, Photis Photiou, said on Sunday that the Government seeks to serve peace and security both in Cyprus and the wider region.
“We do not seek confrontation or to exacerbate old wounds and problems. What we seek is to serve peace and security both in Cyprus and in the wider region”, Photiou said, speaking at a memorial event for the victims of the Genocide of the Greeks of Pontus, in Nicosia.
