CNA - CYPRUS/Nicosia 12/06/2018 19:29

International law and the relations with the United States, the EU and the countries in the Eastern Mediterranean shield Cyprus from tensions arising in Turkey due to the election campaign there, Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou said.
Invited to comment on recent statements made in Turkey in relation to Cyprus, Prodromou said that the Cypriot government monitors developments and remains composed, relying on international law.
At the same time, Prodromou pointed to the upgraded relationship with the United States and the relations Nicosia maintains with its partners in the EU in various fields, including energy.
