CNA - Cyprus/NICOSIA 10/01/2018 17:01

Green Dot Cyprus has announced its cooperation with ACS Courier, which in the last half of 2017 has undertaken to deliver recycling kits to citizens for free.

"The cooperation aims to make the most of synergies between ACS Courier and Green Dot Cyprus in order to promote the recycling of packaging across Cyprus," a Green Dot press release says.

In particular, it adds, Green Dot Cyprus has created a recycling kit which "includes all necessary information and tools all citizens need in order to take part in the recycling programme of their region."

It is further clarified that any citizen interested in environmental matters can order a recycling kit through the Green Dot Cyprus website or its Facebook account.

"The two organisations believe that their cooperation will significantly contribute in promoting society`s awareness for environmental issues in general and on recycling matters in particular,"  Green Dot`s press release continues.

"The goal of the cooperation which will continue in 2018 is to increase the public`s participation in recycling programmes offered in our country," the press release concludes.
