President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides held a meeting on Wednesday in Brussels with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen focusing on the EU response for financial support to Cyprus to address the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak, as well as measures by the European Commission to protect Cyprus from similar livestock crises in the future.
