Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot political parties called on all parties on Thursday to strengthen existing joint mechanisms “to protect nature and all living beings”, while also stressing the need for the full and effective implementation of the EU regulations across the entire island in response to the ongoing foot-and-mouth disease outbreak.
