Energy costs are a key challenge for the government, President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides said on Wednesday, while commenting that efforts to develop natural gas resources, and international contacts aimed at promoting Cyprus as an investment destination, are in high priority for the government. During a roundtable discussion with representatives of the business community at the 16th Nicosia Economic Congress, the Presided noted that discussions will take place with ENI and TOTAL to reach an agreement by the end of April on the exploitation of Cypriot natural gas by 2027.
