Preparation of EU Tourism Strategy the focus of Informal Council meeting in Nicosia

The ιnformal meeting of EU Tourism Ministers, which met on Friday in Nicosia as part of Cyprus’ Presidency of the Council of the EU, focused on the preparation of the first European Strategy for Sustainable Tourism, according to statements made at a press conference by Deputy Minister of Tourism, Kostas Koumis, who chaired the meeting, and European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, Apostolos Tzitzikostas.
