The tragedy of the missing persons remains the most open and painful wound of what happened in 1974, and determining the fate of every missing person is an unwavering priority for the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, Labour and Social Insturance Minister Marinos Mousiouttas, said on Thursday, in remarks on behalf of President Christodoulides during an event entitled “Day of Remembrance and Honour for the Prisoners of War of 1974” at the 1974 Prisoners of War Park in Nicosia.
