Simulation exercise in May for EU mutual assistance clause, diplomatic sources say

A three-phase simulation exercise based on a theoretical scenario involving the activation of the EU’s mutual assistance clause (Article 42.7 of the Treaty on European Union) will take place in May, with the participation of the European Commission, EU member states and national embassies, diplomatic sources said.
