The President of the European Council, António Costa, thanked on Saturday to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, expressing his appreciation for the hospitality and his energy, as the island hosted the informal European Council meeting on Thursday and Friday, in the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU. Costa also promised to return to Cyprus following the informal EU Summit that took place in Ayia Napa and Nicosia.
