One of the most significant agreements reached during the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU in the social policy field was recorded on Wednesday, as the ambassadors of the EU member states approved the provisional agreement reached last week with the European Parliament on the revision of the rules coordinating national social security systems, closing a file that had remained open for nearly a decade.
