By defending the sovereignty and the freedom of every corner of the European continent, we’re securing a peaceful future, Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides said on Monday, during a panel discussion he coordinated, with the participation of the leaders of the European Commission, Italy, France and UK, at the European Political Community (EPC) Summit held in Yerevan. Participants stressed the need for more cooperation and coordination to tackle the overdependencies and other challenges faced, and a more proactive Europe as regards defence and security, energy and trade.
