The need to move from declarations to tangible and measurable policies on gender equality in shipping was highlighted by the Commissioner for Gender Equality, Josie Christodoulou during the conference “Equal Opportunities and Inclusion in Maritime”, held in Brussels on Tuesday as part of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
