Cyprus recorded a current account deficit of €1.3 billion in the first quarter of 2026, based on non-calendar adjusted and non-seasonally adjusted data, according to figures published by Eurostat on Friday. During the same period, Cyprus posted a €1.2 billion surplus in its services account.
