The share of people aged 16 and over who consumed alcohol daily in Cyprus stood at 1.9% in 2025, compared with 4.8% across the EU, according to data published by Eurostat on Monday. Meanwhile, 16.1% of the population in Cyprus consumed alcohol on a weekly basis and 22.1% on a monthly basis, compared with 19.2% and 21.8%, respectively, across the EU.
