The Cyprus Ambassador to Greece Stavros Avgoustides undertook an initiative to register and promote all monuments in Greece that are dedicated to the missing persons and fallen heroes of the 1974 illegal Turkish invasion in Cyprus, with the aim of creating a nationwide "Route of Remembrance for Cyprus." The office of Presidential Commissioner Marios Hartsiotis is actively contributing to the project, a press statement says.
