"The upgrade of the Republic of Cyprus's credit rating by Fitch Ratings from 'A-' to 'A', with the outlook revised from positive to stable, continues a series of successive upgrades of Cyprus," Finance Minister, Makis Keravnos, said in a written statement, following the Fitch ratings announcement on November 6, expressing satisfaction over this development.
