We must safeguard the work on Cyprus issue achieved so far, G/c negotiator says

Greek Cypriot negotiator on the Cyprus issue, Menelaos Menelaou, has said that there is a growing realization by people in Cyprus, both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, that there is a clear dilemma, between a common future in a united Cyprus in the EU and the solidification of the division and the assimilation of the Turkish Cypriot community in Turkey.
