Government to prevent normalisation of irregular buffer zone crossings, President tells Human Rights Commissioner

The Government of the Republic of Cyprus will make every effort to prevent the normalisation of irregular crossings through the "Green Line", the buffer zone that runs through Cyprus, always in conformity with its obligations under international and European law, President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides has stressed in a reply letter to Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights, Michael O’Flaherty.
