Cyprus' has high standards for private security companies at sea, UN experts say

The same high standards and scrutiny that the Republic of Cyprus applies to the regulation of private security companies operating at sea should also apply to companies operating on land, the UN Working Group on the use of mercenaries (as a means of violating human rights and impeding the exercise of the right of peoples to self-determination) says in its preliminary observations.
