The opportunities and prospects for persons with disabilities in the labour market, as well as the tools promoted within the framework of the new legislation for persons with disabilities, which is in the final stage of preparation, were highlighted by Cyprus’ Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Marilena Evangelou, during a Ministerial Conference organised in Gdansk by the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU, according to an announcement by the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare.
