A 2023 survey on the use of information and communication technologies in the EU found that 33.1% of people in the EU who engaged in online shopping in the past three months reported encountering problems while making purchases through a website or an app. Cyprus had the lowest share of reports of such problems in the EU (14.7%) according to data released by Eurostat ahead of World Consumer Rights Day (March 15th).
