The Republic of Cyprus' EU membership is the strongest asset in the struggle for a Cyprus settlement, which is a European matter, President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides said on Thursday in a written statement on the 21st anniversary of the Republic of Cyprus' accession to the European Union (EU), describing it as “the Republic of Cyprus' top political and diplomatic success.”
