Cyprus’ government posted a budget surplus of €646.8 million, equivalent to 1.8% of GDP, during the period January–April 2025, according to preliminary data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (CYSTAT) on Friday. This marks a slight decline compared to the €650.5 million surplus (1.9% of GDP) recorded during the same period in 2024.
