Commissioner for climate, net zero and clean growth, Wopke Hoekstra, is currently in Paris to exchange with government representatives on the progress made implementing the EU's 2030 climate and energy legislative framework and on the upcoming proposal for a 2040 EU climate target, which is scheduled on 2 July.
