Health Minister, Michael Damianos, said that 22 new cases of cancer in children aged between 0-14 (1% of all cancer patients in Cyprus) occur each year. There are another 16 cancer cases for adolescents aged 15-19. The Minister pledged to upgrade healthcare for treating childhood cancer in Cyprus.
