Cooperation is crucial in tackling common diseases, ecosystem risks in Cyprus, and the impacts of climate change, Michalis Loizides, co-chair of the bicommunal Technical Committee on the Environment, told CNA on Friday, noting that unilateral measures taken by either side, which either failed or achieved only partial success, have demonstrated the need for such cooperation.
