The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, in a televised address to the people of Cyprus, on Sunday evening, following the devastating fires in Limassol, apologised on behalf of the state, saying that at a critical moment like this, the government did not respond as it should have, announcing 12 immediate actions by the Government to support those affected.
