A recent study published in the European Heart Journal, involving researchers from the School of Health Sciences at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), lead Associate Professor Andrie Panayiotou and Dr. Galatia Photiou, suggests that a Covid-19 infection may accelerate the aging of blood vessels by up to five years, particularly in women.
