MEPs from Cyprus and Greece called on Wednesday evening for the release of 5 Greek Cypriots illegally detained by the regime in the Turkish-occupied territories of Cyprus, and asked for measures against Turkey, during a debate in the European Parliament Plenary Session, in Strasbourg, that discussed breaches of human rights, democracy and the rule of law.
