European Council President, Antonio Costa, praised the importance of the Cyprus Presidency for strengthening EU relations with neighbouring countries in the region, in his statements to the media on Monday, after a working lunch with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, at the Presidential Palace, in Nicosia.
