President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, has said that Cyprus' role as a safe hub in a region hit by protracted crises is recognized universally, stressing that this role will be further highlighted during the Presidency of the Council of the European Union that Cyprus will assume on January 1st, 2026.
