A surplus of €1,169.5 million, corresponding to 3.2% of GDP, was recorded by the General Government during the period January–September 2025, according to preliminary fiscal results published by the Statistical Service of Cyprus. The corresponding surplus for the same period of 2024 had amounted to €1,344.3 million or 3.9% of GDP.
