UNFICYP remains indispensable as long as over a third of Cyprus territory remains under foreign occupation, Cyprus’ PR said

The presence of UNFICYP shall continue to be indispensable for as long as over a third of its territory remains under foreign occupation, the Permanent Representative of Cyprus, Ambassador Maria Michail, said in her address before the Fourth Committee of the 80th UN General Assembly on 11 November 2025.
