Cyprus can continue to count on the backing of the European Parliament, its President Roberta Metsola said on Tuesday, while welcoming at the plenary, in Strasbourg the country’s President, Nikos Christodoulides ahead of the presentation of the Cyprus EU Presidency’s programme to MEPs.
