There has been an underspending in water security for a long time, Commissioner for Water Resilience and Competitive Circular Economy, Jessika Roswall, said on Friday at a press conference in Nicosia, following the Informal Council of EU Environment and Climate Ministers, held in the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU. She also said that the Commission urges members states to use EU funds more efficiently for water management or leakages.
