President Nikos Christodoulides, in a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, has assured that Cyprus’ EU Presidency and the parliamentary elections set to take place May 2026, “in no way affect” the commitment to the immediate resumption of substantive negotiations and progress on the Cyprus issue, CNA has learnt.
