Cyprus’ aim to upgrade its relations with Italy to the level of the ties it maintains with France, competent sources told CNA on Friday regarding the announcement on Thursday of the intention for a strategic agreement between Cyprus and Italy following President Nikos Christodoulides’ meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Thursday in Rome.
