An emergency meeting of the Integrated Political Crisis Response (IPCR) was convened at the request of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU on Tuesday to assess the latest developments in Iran and their potential impact on the security, energy, transport, economy, and internal security of the Union. The IPCR, already active since the start of the war in Gaza, is the EU’s primary mechanism for rapid political crisis response.
