The Justice and Home Affairs Council of the European Union (Justice) is taking place on Friday in Brussels, with key items on the agenda including the protection of vulnerable adults in cross-border cases, the implementation of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, and issues concerning the independence of lawyers in Europe. Deputy Minister of Migration and International Protection, Nicholas Ioannides, said that the aim was to reach a general approach on the protection of vulnerable adults in the EU.
