Nexans said it achieved a “world-record” depth of 3,000 meters for massimpregnated (MI) high-voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea cable during a deep-water sea trial, as part of works on the Great Sea Interconnector, a project connecting the electricity systems of Greece and Cyprus.
