There was a significant drop in the number of bad cheques issued in February this year compared to the same month last year, as 8 checks of a total value of €47,460that bounced were issued, compared to 34, according to data published on Thursday by the Central Bank of Cyprus regarding entries in the preliminary list of the Central Information Register (CIR) for issuers of dishonoured cheques.
