The Council of the European Union, under the Cyprus Presidency, agreed today on its negotiating position regarding a proposal to streamline certain rules concerning artificial intelligence (AI) with Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Marilena Raouna, noting that “streamlining the rules on AI is essential to ensure the European Union’s digital sovereignty."
