Veterinary Officer, Sotiria Gregoriadou, stressed the need for everyone to focus on the big picture in dealing with foot-to-mouth disease and urged farmers to comply with the measures announced by the authorities, in order to eliminate the virus. Speaking during a media briefing on Saturday, Grigoriadou noted that the number of the affected farms remains at 38, which is a positive sign, as she said, but warned that this could change, if measures are not implemented.
